What is an Enrollment Key?

When you purchase our training, you will be issued an enrollment key. The enrollment key is used to unlock the training course and allows you log in and log out of the course and the test.

NOTE: Enrollment keys are the responsibility of you -- the account manager. SRVright.com is not responsible if your keys are misused by any of your employees or ex-employees.

What is Alcohol Server Training?

Alcohol Server training is a form of occupational education typically provided to servers, sellers and consumers of alcohol to prevent intoxication, drunk driving, and underage drinking. Usually underwritten by employers in the hospitality, food-service and related industries, this training is regulated and mandated by state and local laws.

Am I required to take server training?

Your state and local government regulate the server training laws in your area. To find the governing agency in your state visit the National Conference of State Liquor Administrators at www.ncsla.org and click on Member Directory to choose your state.

Does SRVright.com training meet my state requirements?

At this time, SRVright.com meets the training requirements suggested by the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control only. More courses will be added soon.

What is the cost?

The cost for the training course is $20 per license. This cost includes account management tools for businesses and managers.

Course FAQs

How long does the course take?

SRVright.com’s “Responsible Server Training” course will take a minimum of three hours to complete.

Can I take the training more than once?

Each course license will allow you to log into the course and take the test three times. If the number of attempts is exceeded, a new course license must be purchased.

What if I fail the training?

If you fail to pass the test on your first attempt, you are allowed to re-take the test two more times. If the number of attempts is exceeded per license, the course will be locked and a new course license must be purchased.

Are certificates available?

Upon successful completion of the course and test, a certificate of completion is available. The certificate is printable and is also available to be re-printed by accessing the course through your user account records.

Who is responsible for the enrollment keys?

Enrollment keys are the responsibility of you – the account manager. SRVright.com is not responsible if your enrollment keys are misused by any of your employees or ex-employees.

What kind of information do I get as a business owner or manager?

If you are purchasing multiple licenses for your employees, you will have access to reports that will let you view your employee’s course information. This information is viewable only by the account administrator. More Information

How do employees log in?

When you purchase our training, you will be issued an enrollment key. Each employee will use the same access code, however they will need to create their own user account. The enrollment key is tied to the number of licenses that you purchase. Each time a new employee logs in, one license is used. Additional licenses can be added to enrollment keys for ease of use by management.

How are the records stored?

Account and employee records are stored in a third-party database that can be accessed through your user account. The database is secure and cannot be altered or changed by an employee or an account administrator to ensure accurate and defendable documents.

Am I able to print account reports?

All employee and account reports are searchable and printable, including certificates.

What if an employee leaves? Can these documents be transferred to their new employer?

Employee records are unique to each account and they cannot be transferred to another employer. If you are an employer with multiple locations, contact SRVright for more information on setting up an account that will allow your company to track each location in one account.
